BOOK REVIEW: Impossible

Title: Impossible
Author: Komal Lewis (aka Komal Kant)
Series: With Me (Book One)

Description:

Ashton Summers is on her way to becoming the most popular girl in school and nothing—or no one—is going to stand in her way. Especially not Luca Byron, her freak neighbor, with his tattoos, loud music, and distracting green eyes.

Luca Byron has three goals in life: get through high school with a low profile, make sure his garage band becomes something more than a hobby, and try to forget about his insufferable ex-best friend, Ashton, who he can’t get out of his mind.

The last thing Ashton and Luca want to do is rekindle their friendship, but when Ashton takes a tumble down the social ladder, Luca—with his new makeover—is the only one who can help her rise up again by pretending to be her boyfriend. At first, being together is unbearable and annoying, but things start to change as Ashton and Luca discover the real reasons they drifted apart seven years ago.

Now, keeping their hands off each other seems impossible.

Review:

Nice read. It made me even cry. God, I'm such a cry-baby!
So, I'm saying this was a good book and a nice story, though there were a few things I didn't like. First thing, Ashton the Princess, for about half of the book or more. She was just so superficial and stupid! A real b*tch, although not really as much as Kance. She got on my nerves! I couldn't get to bear Ash at least until that Friday of the Bonfire. After that night, the real Ashton started to get out and she was nice.
On the contrary, Luca was easy to like. Although he did some stupid mistakes himself as well. He's no angel either.
Kance was easily the worst b*tch on Earth. Or make it the worst evil living in Hell.
I wasn't a fan of Stacy either, although in the end she at least did say something right.
Oliver was the biggest evil, idiot, jerk, asshole, and whatever nasty word you'd want to call him, ever! He made me sick. And I actually didn't like him from the start, even before that fateful night at the Bonfire. I just knew he ws no good.
Ashton's mom was very cool and Luca's mom as well. It was funny having them dreaming of their children getting together. The scene about Luca's mom getting home and catching him and Ash making out in the kitchen was fun.
The second thing I didn't like... or I should say that annoyed me, was the part close to the end. I mean the scene at the party, which I won't tell you about, so that I won't spoil it for you. That part and some others before that, really got on my nerves. I couldn't stand to read about it. Couldn't stay there and watch them falling apart. So I'll admit I kind of skipped some scenes right before the party because it made me feel bad. And I couldn't wait to know how it ended. I needed a happy ending. Which I might have or haven't had, I won't tell you.
