BOOK REVIEW: Personal Demons

Title: Personal Demons
Author: Lisa Desrochers
Series: Personal Demons (Book One)

Description:

Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a bit of a wicked streak. She has spent years keeping everyone at a distance—-even her closest friends—-and it seems as if her senior year is going to be more of the same... until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can’t seem to stay away from him.

What she doesn’t know is that Luc is on a mission. He’s been sent from Hell itself to claim Frannie’s soul. It should be easy—-all he has to do is get her to sin, and Luc is as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn’t stand a chance. But he has to work fast, because if the infernals are after her, the celestials can’t be far behind. And sure enough, it’s not long before the angel Gabriel shows up, willing to do anything to keep Luc from getting what he came for. It isn’t long before they find themselves fighting for more than just Frannie’s soul.

But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay... for all of them.

Review:

One word: WOW!!!

This book is wonderful! I loved it very much!

Luc is my favorite character. He's amazing! Sexy, intriguing, beautiful, sweet, charming, funny, tempting as hell (no pun intended), hot (well, in more than one way) and really adorable! I think I love him!

Frannie... For most of the time I wanted to throttle her for flirting with Gabe all the time and making Luc suffer... What the hell?! You're crazy, woman! Can't you see he's fuming with jealousy? Can't you see his heart is breaking? Can't you see he loves you???
But, that thing aside, I have to admit she's a brave girl and I like her. A bit.

Gabe... Don't know why but I don't really like him... He tries too hard at charming Frannie... And he uses too much his angelic powers to make her like him. When instead, Luc even though is a demon and he wants her for many reasons, tries to play nice to win her love and doesn't want to use his powers on her... much.

I really, really liked this book and now I can't wait to read "Original Sin"!

Now, the rating... 4 stars or 5 stars??? I don't know!

***4.5 stars***
